How to report on attendance recording data

Learn how to generate Eventsforce reports with the attendance recording data.

To report on who has attended your event, you must have already used one of the different ways to record attendance.

Once people have been marked as "Attended," you can report on this information in two ways.

Exporting results from the Attendance recording page

You can export attendance for an event from the recording page. To do so, go to People > Attendance > Day or Sessions, then complete the following steps:

  1. Use the dropdown filters to show the desired day or session, status and attended criteria

  2. Click the Spanner Icon

  3. Select “Export results to Excel…” to export the data from the grid into a .csv file

Using an insight template report

You can create an Insight Template to report on an event’s attendees.

  1. From the reports grid, click the Plus Icon to create a new report

  2. Use the ‘Get data from’ dropdown menu to select ‘Attendees’

  3. Add your desired filters. Examples may include ‘ Has Attended Event’ or ‘Is on Invitation List’

  4. Add the following columns:

    1. Has attended event: This column shows “Yes” if the attendee was marked as attended for any days

    2. Attended days: This creates columns for each day in the event. These columns show “1” if the attendee was marked as attended or “0” if the attendee was not marked as attended

    3. Attended sessions: This creates columns for each session. These columns show “1” if the attendee was marked as attended or “0” if the attendee was not marked as attended

  5. Run report

  6. Save the report for future use
