While the Eventsforce mobile app offers a number of different modules and features, you may want to add your own custom pages or custom links for attendees to access. Custom links and pages can direct users to third party tools, or provide a link back to “Eventsforce registration amendment”.

A custom page is viewed directly within the event app and can contain HTML content (text, images, hyperlinks). Up to three custom pages can be added to your event app. We recommend using custom pages for any information you need to share with attendees that may not relate to other modules, such as pre-conference activities.

A custom link is a redirect to another URL within the event app. Attendees clicking on the link will remain in the event app and will see the page the URL directs to. Up to three custom links can be added to your event app. We recommend using custom links for items like registration amendment, flight status, weather, and hotel booking sites.

Adding a custom page

Ensure the "Custom Page 1" module is active within the "Design Manager & Theme" tile. Read more about "How to enable and disable modules within the MCM". Once active, you can edit the custom page by doing the following:

  1. Go to the MCM dashboard

  2. Click a “Custom Page” module on the left

  3. Enter a page “Title”

  4. Enter start and end dates/times to be displayed on the page (optional)

  5. Enter a description (optional)

  6. Click “Save & Next >>”

  7. Enter a page summary, detail info, and notes (optional)

  8. Click “Save & Next >>”

  9. Upload an image to be displayed at the top of the custom page (optional)

  10. Click “Save & Finish”

  11. Click the “Settings” icon to further customize the page options

  12. Click “Save”

Notes: You can customize the page further by clicking the “cog” icon in the top right of the “Edit Custom Page” tab (example below). If multiple custom pages are needed, activate the “Custom page 2” and “Custom page 3” modules.

Adding a custom link

  3. Enter a “Title” for this custom link

  4. Enter the URL the custom link will direct to

  5. Click “Save & Finish”

Changing module names of custom pages and links

When using custom pages and custom links, you will likely want to customize the name of the module as it appears in the event app. The name of the module for both custom pages and custom links can be edited by taking the steps below:

  1. Go to the MCM dashboard

  2. Click the “Design Manager & Theme” module

  3. Find the module in the app preview and click the ‘edit’ icon

  4. Update the “Display Name” as needed

  5. Click “Upload files” if you want to upload your own module image (optional)

  6. If uploading an image, be sure to click the “Upload” icon

  7. Click “Save”

  8. Click “Save & Finish” when done

Notes: If no image is uploaded for your module, the default image will be a solid color.

Visiting custom pages and links as an attendee
