Once an abstract has been submitted, the submitter is unable to change the topic the abstract was submitted into. The submitter must delete the abstract and submit a new abstract in the new topic.  

Event managers have the ability to change a topic of an abstract from the admin portal. This can be done for one or multiple abstracts in bulk. 

Changing topic for a submitted abstract

  1. Go to Abstracts > Management > Submissions
  2. Locate and select the submission(s) you want to update
  3. Select the ‘Tools’ dropdown and select “Change topic...”
  4. Select the new topic from the dropdown box
  5. Click “Save”

Note: You can also change the topic by double clicking on a submission from the Abstracts > Management > Submissions page. Choose a new topic from the ‘Topic’ dropdown and click “Save”.
