Learn how to schedule an email to send at a specific date/time.

When sending emails from Eventsforce, you may want to schedule the email to send at a specific date and time. Both invitation and ad-hoc emails can be scheduled to send, or be sent immediately. 

Sending an ad-hoc email at a later date

To schedule an email, proceed through the initial steps of sending an ad-hoc email (steps 1-7). 

Upon reaching the 'Email Confirmation' screen, click "Send Later..." instead of "Proceed".

Sending an invitation email at a later date

To schedule an invitation email, proceed through the initial steps of sending an invitation email (steps 1-3).

Upon reaching the 'Email Confirmation' screen, click "Send Later..." instead of "Send".

Canceling a scheduled email

Event managers have the ability to cancel a scheduled email before it is sent. Here are some steps on how to cancel a scheduled email:

  1. Go to Communications > Campaigns

  2. Under the section "Emails scheduled to be sent" click the "Cancel" button for the email you would like to cancel

  3. Click "OK" to confirm cancellation of this scheduled email
