When sending emails from Eventsforce, you may want to schedule the email to send at a specific date and time. Both invitation and ad-hoc emails can be scheduled to send, or be sent immediately.
Sending an ad-hoc email at a later date
To schedule an email, proceed through the initial steps of sending an ad-hoc email (steps 1-7).
Upon reaching the 'Email Confirmation' screen, click "Send Later..." instead of "Proceed".
Sending an invitation email at a later date
To schedule an invitation email, proceed through the initial steps of sending an invitation email (steps 1-3).
Upon reaching the 'Email Confirmation' screen, click "Send Later..." instead of "Send".
Canceling a scheduled email
Event managers have the ability to cancel a scheduled email before it is sent. Here are some steps on how to cancel a scheduled email:
Go to Communications > Campaigns
Under the section "Emails scheduled to be sent" click the "Cancel" button for the email you would like to cancel
Click "OK" to confirm cancellation of this scheduled email
