Abstract reviewers can be added to Eventsforce and invited to view, grade, and/or comment on submitted abstracts.
Abstract reviewers can be added to your event in two ways:
Adding reviewers individually
Adding reviewers by importing a list of people
Adding individual reviewers
Adding reviewers one by one can be quicker if you have a small number of reviewers, or if you need to add additional reviewers to an existing list. Take the steps below to add individual reviewers:
Go to Abstracts > Setup > Reviewers
Click "Create New Person"
Enter the reviewer details (email, firstname, and lastname are required)
Click "Save"
Note: Don’t forget to assign reviewers to abstract topics after they’ve been added and prior to sending the reviewer invitation!
Tip: If the person you want to add as a reviewer already exists in Eventsforce, you can just enter their “email” in the ‘Create new person’ window and the system will find the matching record.
Adding multiple reviewers
Before you can search the Eventsforce database to add reviewers in bulk, you will need to create a list of people and import your reviewer data. If your reviewers already exist in a list of people, take the steps below:
Go to Abstracts > Setup > Reviewers
Click “Find Existing Person”
Use the search page to locate your list of people, click “Edit” for ‘People from the following lists’
Search and select your list, then click “Continue” (enter an asterisk “*” to search all lists)
Click “Search”
Select the checkbox for all the people you want to add as reviewers
Click “Proceed”
Note: Before you invite reviewers, be sure to assign reviewers to abstracts.
