Event managers have the ability to login as an award submitter in an awards event. Logging in as a submitter allows the event manager to experience the same process as the specific submitter. This can often be used for troubleshooting or testing purposes.

For more information about creating an award entry, please refer to our support article “How to submit an award entry”.

Login as an existing award submitter

If a person has already started the award submission process, they will appear in the event as an “award submitter”. A list of current submitters can be found by going to Awards > Management > Submitters.

From the submitters list, follow the steps below to login as an award submitter:

  1. Go to Awards > Management > Submitters

  2. (Optional) Click “All” to view all submitters

  3. Click on the “i” icon to the left of the submitter’s name

  4. In the ‘Event Links’ section, click the “Award Entry” link

Login as person who exists in Eventsforce

If the person has not already started the award submission process, they will not appear on the “Submitters” page. If the person exists in Eventsforce but has not made any submissions, event managers can perform a ‘quick search’ to locate the person within the database.

To find a submitter who has not started the submission process:

  1. Go to the awards event in question (Events > Show all events)

  2. Go to Reports > Quick Search

  3. Enter the email address of the person

  4. Select the checkbox to “Search all events”

  5. Click “Search”

  6. Click on the “i” icon to the left of the submitter’s name

  7. In the ‘Event Links’ section, click the “Award Entry” link

Note: If no results are shown when following the steps above, the person (email) may not yet exist in Eventsforce. Event managers can use the “direct URL to registration” and enter the submitter’s email address to create a profile and create entries on behalf of the submitter.
