Before asking award judges to grade/review award entries, event managers should have already done the following:

Once judge panels have been assigned to award categories, invites can then be sent to the judge panel.

Assigning a judge panel to an award category

Award judges are able to see and review award entries within the award categories their judge panel has been assigned to. Each award category can have a single judge panel assigned. Event managers can assign judge panels by taking the following steps:

  1. Go to Awards > Setup > Categories
  2. Click on a category name
  3. Select a ‘Judge Panel’ from the dropdown box
  4. Click “Save”

Inviting award judges to review/grade entries

Before sending the judge invitation email, event managers should verify the judging dates, and ensure all award categories have a judge panel assigned. Each judge panel will need to be invited individually. When ready to invite judges, take the following steps:

  1. Go to Awards > Setup > Categories
  2. Click on a category name with a judge panel assigned
  3. Select “Invite” to ‘Send invitation email to all judges in the panel’ when sending the initial invite
  4. Click “Save”
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 until all judge panels have been invited


  • If only one judge panel is used for all categories, event managers only need to send the judge invite for one award category.
  • If the same judge panel is assigned to more than one award category, only send the judge invite in one award category.
  • If adding new judges to a panel, use the second “Invite” button to ‘Send Invitation email to NEW judges in the panel’
  • Use the “Remind” button to send a reminder email to judges
