At Eventsforce, we do not like data loss. Rather than allowing abstracts to be fully deleted, we allow them to be "archived". Archived submissions will not appear on your default list of "submitted" abstracts, and can always be "restored" if needed.
Event managers can always archive an abstract submission in the admin portal. Abstract submitters can all delete their own submission by logging into their submitter profile.
Archiving an abstract submission
Go to Abstracts > Management > Submissions
Select the abstract(s) you want to archive (hold ‘CRTL’ or ‘Command’ to select multiple)
Use the 'Tools' dropdown and select "Archive..."
Click "Archive"
Note: You can view archived submissions in your list by adjusting the ‘Show’ dropdown and selecting “Archived”.
